My photographs have used on album covers by Australian singer/songwriter Richard Clapton, keyboard wiz Bruce Katz and the SLICE album split with Computer Basics and One Forth Awesome. 


In 2020 Chris Hillman released his autobiography Time Between. I am honored to have them use my color photo of Chris on the back cover. 

Glen Boyd used my photos of Neil Young in his fact-filled Neil Young FAQ book in 2012.


Also featured is a photo of Jacksonville Jaguar's wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. in conjunction with him singing "Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing" at The Ritz.

In 1985 I produced two compilation albums of Australian bands titled SCREAM Down Under 001 and 002.

These included bands like Gang Gajang, Seamonsters, The Cuckoos, Your System and Naughty Rhythms. They were distributed to radio stations and reviewers across the US to generate attention for those artists.

Kim Reed has been a musicologist, music journalist & photographer for over 50 years in Australia and the United States.
His list of interviews and concert shoots includes hundreds of artists including  Santana, Joni Mitchell, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Cher, U2, BB King, The Who ,Phil Collins, Frank Zappa, plus members of Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, and The Rolling Stones. He has covered festivals such as SXSW, Lollapalooza, Americana Fest, Folk Alliance, Wanee and the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival.
